Information about the Schemes:

1. Currently, hostel facilities are available in 198 development blocks.
2. Residential hostel facilities are provided for girls whose villages do not have a High School or Higher Secondary School.

Procedure to Avail the Benefits of the Schemes:

1. Apply for hostel accommodation at the beginning of the academic session.
2. Admission is granted based on the availability of seats.

Eligibility Criteria for Availing the Benefits:

1. Girls whose villages do not have a High School or Higher Secondary School.
2. The girl's name must be enrolled in classes 9 to 12 in an operational High School or Higher Secondary School.
3. Priority is given to SC/ST/OBC categories (50% of the seats are reserved).
4. Special preference is given to girls with special needs and orphaned girls.
